Dayazahai bowl, between Tougzhi-Guangxu. China, second third of the 19th century.
Enamelled porcelain.
With seals.
In perfect condition.
Measures: 16 x 36 cm.
Bowl dated between the period of mandate of the emperor Tongzhi (1856-1875) and Guangxu (1871-1908). It is notable for the yellow background, typical of the Dayazahai style, on which are depicted trees with flowering branches on which black-feathered birds perch. This is a fantastically crafted piece that demonstrates the technical and formal progress made in Chinese porcelain.
