The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep / The King and the Bird (Paul Grimault, circa 1950)
Extremely rare set of three original preparatory ink drawings, attributed to Marcel Saufnai for the research on the production of Paul Grimault's film in the early 1950s.
We find :
- Posing study of the "King", legs crossed on his throne (India ink on tracing paper) - P. Grimault ?
- Study of posing of "Felix, the old letter carrier" and another character
- Small ink drawing of the seated king, holding his head (torn sheet on the top)
Very rare pieces.
