Including more than 1000 artificial teeth. Incisors, canines and molars of different shapes and shades. The fixation points are made of gold. French, Swiss, German and American manufacture. Beginning of the 20th century. In an oak presentation box with 12 drawers (all well furnished). Height : 25,5 cm, length : 36 cm, depth : 23 cm. Crack on the side of the box. Note Funerary archaeology reveals that restorative dentistry and the concept of dentures date back to before the Christian era. The desire to replace a missing tooth dates back 5,000 years ago. In the 15th century B.C. the Phoenicians were already making "bridges" with gold ligatures.
