"King David dancing before the Ark of the Covenant
Rich and beautiful border of plants, flowers (lilies) and colored fruits (pomegranates).
2nd book of Samuel, Chapter 6, Verse 14: The King "David danced with all his might before the ark of the Lord his God". Indeed, it is related that King David, refusing to carry the ark of the covenant, decided to dance, to the sounds of the harp and the tambourine, before the ark for its entry into Jerusalem. Here we see King David dancing with all his might in front of the canopy under which the ark is supposed to be placed, for the ark was placed under a canopy while waiting for the construction of the first temple in Jerusalem, which was built by his son King Solomon.
