Important and very beautiful carpet FÉRAHAN (Persia), woven around 1880
Dimensions : 530 x 420cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
Navy blue background with "Herati" decoration with small medallions in the form of diamonds, leaves and geometric flowers, pistachio green, blue, old gold, brick and ivory, surrounded by an original small internal braid with ivory pallets.
Large brick red border decorated with scrolls and stylized flowers surrounded by five counter borders ivory, brick and blue flowers.
