In the upper part is a large woodcut vignette depicting the entry of French troops into Algiers, and the "Couplets sur la prise d'Alger" on each side.
The lower part reproduces the letter of the Comte de Bourmont, commander-in-chief of the African expedition army, to the President of the Council, as well as the convention between the General-in-Chief of the French army and the Dey of Algiers.
Small tears in the margin, without gravity. On verso, stamp of the collection of Dr. Y. Hutin. Nice condition, RARE.
