ESTIMATE : 1 500€ -3 000€ PRICE : 1 200€ Model of historical interest because it is the very first models built after the war by Renault only in 1945/46. After the liberation of France, Renault has only little time and means to build its new 1000 kg van, the 206E1 (ancestor of the schooner). They are recognizable by their ''suicide'' doors and by their headlights not integrated in the front face. The model rests on a chassis-beam, of a structure entirely out of wooden according to the techniques of before-war, on which are fixed the panels of sheet metal. Mechanically, it uses the 85 engine, a 2.4l 4 cylinder block with side valves. Very rare model, maybe the only one to be sold in France? Without registration but with original license plate and manufacturer's plates on the vehicle. FIV request to be done by the buyer allowing the registration in France. The model we offer for sale is one of the rare ones available, it seems to be complete but needs to be fully restored. It has been kept under cover, which has allowed a good preservation of its apparent wooden structure (some grafting to be done). The list of defects is not exhaustive and is only indicative.
