Ardebil carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Northwest Persia, circa 1940-1950. The carpet is decorated with a central medallion polylobed navy blue enhanced by an ivory rosette on an old pink background decorated with polychrome flowers. The whole composition is decorated with four ivory spandrels. Wine bed border decorated with flowering trees and framed with numerous counter-borders. Good condition.
