Beautiful French style sword. Triangular blade with 3 hollow sides, 875 mm. long. Mounting in cast bronze. Ovoid pommel with stripes. Prominent rivet knob. Thin branch of guard ending in quillon in crook. Figurative donkey step, symmetrical bivalve guard plate. Wooden fuse dressed with red cloth and covered with a brass filigree alternated with a flat strip of brass wound. Both ends of the fuse end in two braided ferrules. No scabbard. Condition 1. Louis XVI period.
