Together in the lot a partial edition of the famous manuscript with introduction and commentary by Marcel Thomas, printed in Paris by Draeger Freres in 1971. & nbsp; & nbsp;
** Famous monograph with 65 plates in heliogravure, published by Paul Durrieu in 1904 in conjunction with a major exhibition of French Gothic art in Paris where it was exhibited in the form of 12 plates from the Durrieu monograph, as the terms of Aumale's bequest prohibited the removal of the codex by Chantilly.
