An Italian cabinet in Renaissance style. 18th- and 19th century.
Cabinet: Firenze / Milan, unknown master. 1720-1760.
Stand: England, Edwards & Roberts. 1860-1890.
Blackened pearwood, cypress and poplar, gilt-bronze and copper.
Central portico with niche containing miniature bust of presumably Emperor Constantine and top balustrade. Above coat of arms with dolphin flanked by Italian soldiers. At bottom drawer with winged herms
Left and right one large and eight small drawers with sirens, after Greek and Roman iconography. Pulls in the shape of man's busts.
Base with tapered legs, interconnected.
