Ceramist, potter and designer, it is a meeting with Jean Marais in 1984 that gives him a taste for working with clay and a passion for ceramics. After a first workshop in Menton, Stéphane Montalto settled in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, inspired by the great ceramists of the last century, who were numerous on the Riviera, to use both their technique and their creations. Named "Meilleur Ouvrier de France", he participated in the decoration of the Riviera Palace in Beausoleil and the Greek Villa Kérilos in Beaulieu. His works can also be found in the Casino gardens, the Japanese garden and the Villa Unda Maris in Monaco.
