Belgian painter and draftsman, he trained at the Academies of Brussels and Düsseldorf. Author of portraits, nudes, flowers, interior scenes, landscapes and picturesque views of cities, particularly in Paris and Morocco, his work has a distinguished, solid, but nevertheless refined appearance. In the press he is described as "a first-rate portraitist and draughtsman, and his numerous effigies attest to his gifts as a psychologist" (C. Conrardy - 1941). His colors are subtle and refined and he often enhances his drawings with colored pencils. Works in the Museums of Ixelles and Saint-Josse-Ten-Noode (Charlier Museum)
