BEAUTIFUL COMMODE LOUIS XVI in mahogany, mahogany veneer, molded and panelled. It opens with four drawers on three rows, rounded, fluted and filleted uprights. It rests on tapered, fluted legs. Ornamentation of bronze with decoration of scraper, pognées of pulling and entries of locks. Marble top with brown and grey breccia.
Probably stamped " Jean-Antoine Bruns ", received master on May 17, 1782, active in rue Saint-Nicolas in Paris.
