This deity of renewal was honored by flaying human victims in order to clothe his statues and officiants with the remains obtained. This female figure, rare in this cult, wears a kind of loincloth and anklets. The mouth is open and the eyes half-closed, the ears adorned with characteristic cylindrical ornaments, and the face bears the ritual paintings. This statue, exceptional for its size and conservation, was broken to be buried in a tomb; other breakings probably occurred, according to the attached expertise, on the occasion of its discovery. The whole has been restored. Brown terracotta enhanced with yellow and black vegetal paint.
