Uniform of the battalion commander Cornet of the 2nd RTM, composed of the kepi model 1919 in light blue cloth with garance cap, rank brackets, embroidered crescent and gold metallic number (made in 1939-40), the jacket model 1939 with lapel decorated with collar tabs with gold embroidered Cherifian number and star, double green brackets, sleeve insignia of the 1st Rhine and Danube army, set of 8 decoration ribbons, regimental insignia of Drago, 43 avenue O. Métra, staff armband of the Moroccan division in scarlet felt with a Cherifian star embroidered in green and blue, name tag in the name of Major Cornet dated December 1941, made by Emanuelli in Marseille, with matching pants, brown leather belt, pair of leather gloves and Gandourah model 1920 dated 1940 with rank of commander. A box containing many letters of his private correspondence in 1944 and 1945, including letters from his wife, is attached. BE
