The Office of the Holy Week, for the use of the king (...). New edition. Paris, Jacques Collonbat, 1743, 8°, frontispiece, title-frontispiece, (16 p., including title), 608 p., including titles with historiated frame, headpieces, lettering, framed text, contemporary binding in full red morocco, foliage and floral scrollwork in frame, large fanfare plate decorated with large dotted irons with numeral and coat of arms in the center, spine decorated with nerves, small inner scrollwork, gilt edges. One of the last copies of the fanfare binding before the revival with Thouvenin (binding impeccably restored to the spines). The fleur-de-lys of the arms stamped on the front cover very slightly faded - censored? - in any case not identical to those of the coat of arms on the back cover. A magnificent copy.
