Three Hungarian dances for piano by the Bohemian composer and violinist.
The manuscript is written in brown ink on 12-line oblong paper. The title was added later by another hand. The pieces are in 4/4 time, in B flat major, with an 8-bar Allegro ritornello in 2/4 time that will be repeated at the end of each piece.
N° 1. Andante, in 4/4 time, 20 bars (without the repeats). Then the Allegro (8 bars). N° 2. Lento, 25 bars. N° 3. Andante, 16 bars (without repeats).
The manuscript comes from the collection of the Belgian violinist and composer Henry Vieuxtemps.
