PARIS 1728 - 1729
Rare silver ewer standing on a pedestal molded with oves in recall on the edge of the hinged lid. The body, of baluster form, receives appliques of reeds and lambrequins on amatized bottom in alternation, delimited by a threaded rush in recall on the high part. A Regency-inspired engraving on an amati background decorates the top of the rim, the stave of the lid and the edge of the ewer. The spout shows a woman's head wearing a feathered headdress finished with a pompom. The handle, with a double curve, bordered with ovals on both sides, is topped by a woman's head in the round, whose hair is extended in crosses. The seed is a flower in full bloom.
