Jean-Louis Arnault (circa 1160-before June 1707), who became a farmer general in 1702.
Provenance : Chacenay castle (Aube), kept in the same family.
Bibliography : Les Sires et les barons de Chacenay by Abbé Lalore, Troyes, Librairie Léopold Lacroix, 1885 (with

The attribution to Louis de Boullogne has been transmitted by family tradition. An alternative proposal to return this painting to Nicolas Fouché has been suggested.
