Ɵ The Dialogues against the new academicians, that all does not consist in opinion. Paris, André Wechel, 1557. In-4, soft vellum, traces of binding (Binding of the time).

Guy de Bruès was for a time in relation with the poets of the Pléiade - Laumonnier even mentions him as having been, temporarily, member of the first brigade of Ronsard. He contributed, with Ronsard, Belleau, Peletier, Des Masures, etc., to the French edition of Ramus' Dialectic (1555) by providing translations of Latin quotations.
A wide-margined and ruled copy with old reading notes.
Restoration in the blank of the title, marginal wetness affecting several quires.
