Large floral still life Oil on canvas. 117 x 89.5 cm. In decorative frame. Highly built, large bouquet of roses, peonies, tulips, carnations, daffodils, irises, primroses, mallows and poppies, as well as other spring and early summer flowers in bright fresh colors. The bouquet is crowned by an imperial candle. A yellow butterfly approaches the flowers from the upper left; two other butterflies can also be seen. The bouquet standing in a spherical red vase on a marble slab, next to it a pineapple, a pansy and a violet, in front of a greenish background, which is increasingly shaded to the left. Excellent splendid representation in many differentiated color tones in the typical manner of the artist, on whose works the depicted marble slab is often found.
