CURIOSA LOUYS Pierre (1870-1925) Set of "Notes Erotologiques", (s.l.n.d.). 5 pp. 9 half pages, written in purple ink and pencil. Attached is a photograph of Pierre Lous in 1895 as well as the proofs of two posthumous works: Pierre Lous, Poèmes inédits (1887-1924), Eaux-fortes originales en couleurs de Edouard Chimot [1938] ; Poésie érotique de Pierre Lous, printed in Liège 1927. Poésie érotique is an edition published clandestinely in 1927 under the false rubric of Liège and printed at 69 copies only. The notes are protected by a sheet folded in two, bearing the autograph mention "Notes Erotologiques prises dans divers livres anciens". We count 15 sheets, on different themes like "Among the Sabeans", "XVIIth - Lesbian imagination among witches-", "Penis in os - bibliogr []", "Interpretation of a dialogue of Lucien Bêtise on the clitoris. Etc." etc. Some examples of notes: "among the Sabeans" he quotes "Women will coitus in the manner of men, with filthy women. "Liber Adami. Norberg. I. p.47", in "Naked dances - Persia. Moyse Maymon writes that the Persian sun-worshipping girls dance all naked and sing with instruments. Bodin. Demonomania. 1580. f° 88 v°." or in a subset "Interpretation of a dialogue of Lucien []" we find a note on "Nonsense on the collar of the matrix" it announces "Restif de la Bretonne describes under the name of "clitoris" the collar of the matrix." then quotes Restif " "I discharged deliciously at the bottom of its narrow conina. I felt adorably pinched by what the vulgar calls the clitoris [] ".
