Letter written in pencil, during his internment in the labor camp of Forcalquier, a few days before his departure for the camp of Meslay-du-Maine in the Sarthe. He worries "May I hope that my comments about my publication in the "Cahiers d'Art" have not bothered you too much [] When will this book appear? [] My situation has changed a lot. Forcalquier is a charming place, and I am [] without restriction to do what I want (except the obligation to make portraits from time to time) [] I think again of this text I wrote for the "feux d la Poupée". Having had no answer from you, I don't know if Hugnet gave you the manuscripts [] "
