RUSSIAN LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABRE
Handle covered with stingray with large grain. Brass mounting, long-tailed cap engraved with foliage scrolls at the top. Single-branch guard, two mounts engraved on the obverse with the monogram "E" under an imperial crown (one mound is slightly missing) and curved quillon downwards.
Curved blade with flat back, decorated with gold damascene on both sides, arabesque cartouches, sun and crescents.
Brass scabbard with two hollows cut out on the obverse (leather missing), with two rings of lines.
The bases of the rings and the bolt are decorated with foliage.
