Condition : In good condition with slight handling creases on the edges and some small stains in the margins. From "Verve" (vol. IX, n° 35-36), July 1958, Paris, under the title "Dernières Oeuvres de Matisse 1950-1954". First edition. These works were made by the artist with paper colored with gouache, cut with scissors, and glued. They are presented here with drawings executed at the same time or during the previous period. Matisse composed the cover especially for this volume. These lithographic plates were printed during 1954 under his direction. The printing of the lithographs in colors by Mourlot Frères and that of the reproductions in photogravure and the typography by the master printers Draeger Frères, were completed in Paris on July 28 July 28, 1958.
