Queen Wilhelmina's Game. Frankfurt C.L. Wüst [c. 1898] 2-headed, chromolith, 9,2 x 6,2 cm, rounded corners, 52 cards. Spine: floral motif in mauve and name of the cartier. Mounted under photo corners on supporting ff. Good condition. VT with maker's mark. The kings represent the stadhouder and king of England William III of Orange-Nassau and the kings of the Netherlands Willem I to III. The ladies represent an allegory of the Netherlands and 3 women in traditional dress including a Javanese. The jacks represent military men. The aces are decorated with 2 views of different cities of the Netherlands or their colonies.
