Hans Sebald Beham (1500-1550) - Peasants Feastival - Love and excess / Description: The Peasants' Festival and Twelve Months: Peasants behind the fence; at right a vomitting figure admonished by another male figure holding an axe; at left a kissing couple surprised by an onlooker; from a series of ten engravings. 1546-7 by Sebald Beham. On banderoles above the figures: 'ICH WIL AUCH MIT' and 'DU MACHSTES GAR ZU GROB'. The number ten towards top left corner. This one is guaranteed original and not one of the deceptive copies. / Dimensions: 5,10 x 7,30 cm / Condition: Outstanding fine, good inked impression in excellent condition with full plate border and tread margins.
