Two woodcuts. 54,5 x 33 cm and 53,8 x 32,8 cm. Passavant, Le Peintre Graveur III, Leipsic 1862, 206 (as Dürer); Heller, Das Leben und die Werke Albrecht Dürer's, 2104 (as Dürer); Pauli, Beham: 1342 and 1342a; Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum: Ausgeschiedene und zweifelhafte Werke Albrecht Dürers. A19 and A20 each II of II (on light ground). - No.1 Nice impression, mostly strong and a bit weaker in places, with small margins around the image. Joined in the centerfold and old backed from the back there. Single restored damages in the margins. - No. 2 Excellent, deep black, mainly even and clear impression with small margins around the image. The upper right corner is supplemented. Various professional restorations, including the lower left corner and the left arm of the seated woman at the right margin. Restored tear to upper right margin and top edge.
