TABLE PENDULE Régence, Paris, c. 1720/30. The work signed Mareau à Paris 28. Bronze chased and gilded. In curved form with shells, leaves and volutes and gilded. Flower-shaped top. White enamel dial with Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals. Openworked hands. Later movement (last third of 18th century) with anchor escapement; half hour strike on bell. 1 key. 21 × 13 × 30 cm. Movement, case and dial joined later. Gilding rubbed. 1 foot repaired.
