Augsburg, around 1700. Master's mark Philipp Jakob Drentwett III.
Driven wall of medallions with heads of emperors, in between fruit bunches. Lid unmarked and possibly supplemented.
H 18,5 cm, 400 g.
A comparable lidded cup by the goldsmith and silversmith Philipp Jakob Drentwett III (1669-1708) is kept in Fasanerie Palace in Fulda.
