COFFEE CHEST WITH WISMUT PAINTING Germany, 16th century. Beech painted red and with flowers, vines and berries in rectangular reserves. Slightly trapezoidal body with domed lid. The lid painted with floral still life. Metal fittings (probably later). 31 × 20 × 23 cm. One molding and the lock are missing. Cracks. Painting partly heavily rubbed.
