The first two and last leaves are detached. The portrait of the author, in frontispiece, has small missing margins, and two "restorations" with scotch tape. Title page with small paper tears in the margin. Otherwise, scattered foxing, but good condition of the text.
Second edition of this rare work (EO in 1614), with an engraved title-frontispiece with allegories of Aix, Arles, Avignon and Marseille, bands and initials, heraldic figures in the text.
Book rare enough to be presented despite its condition. Awaiting serious restoration.
