Barbedienne Fondeur', stamped on verso 'Reduction Mécanique A. Collas Brevete'. Above a rectangular base fully sculpted depiction of Laocoon fighting with the snakes sent by Athena and his two sons. Part. dam., losses of patina. The life-size figural group from the 1st century BC, rediscovered in 1506, is now in the Vatican Museums.
