Two plates from the Arracada series; Catalonia, late 18th century. Glazed ceramic. They show faults in the polychromy and small holes. Measurements: 20 cm in diameter, the larger one. The arracada series is one of the blue series with an Alcoreña influence in Baroque Catalonia, and is characterised by the motif that decorates its eaves, synthetic lines that are a popular interpretation of the neoclassical pavilions, in this case made up of plant elements. The arracada series developed from the end of the 18th century and throughout the 19th century, and usually features simple floral motifs on the seat.
