"Antirreticus de numis antiquis coloniarum et municipiorum ad joan foy vaillant med.
Paris, Muguet, 1689, in-4 bound in full speckled calf, richly decorated spine, colored endpapers. Label of the Carlo Vandoni bookshop. 150 pp (2 ff) (1 ff blc) followed by 7 black plates presenting 131 figures.
Foliage faded throughout, head of binding a bit chewed with a slight lack, missing two color endpapers.
Rare first edition complete with its plates.
The author, a Jesuit librarian at the Lycée Louis le Grand, was the author of some original numismatic research.
