Before the arrival of the electric watches on the dashboards of the automobiles, these watches could be integrated into these last ones, capitalizing by their robustness and their quality.
In the book Omega. Journey through time, it is presented in the section "The auto plane watches" or under the name: "Car or office or showcase watch".

Omega Museum in Biel under the reference 2051 (Page 502) under the denomination "Giant Lepine - Goliath Caliber".
