Pocket Chronograph Steel pocket chronograph watch with mechanical movement. - Round steel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown with integrated pusher, oval bezel, officer's caseback with cuvette. - White enamel dial, black painted Arabic numerals, golden Bréguet hands, 30-minute totalizer at 12 o'clock, blued steel straight chronograph seconds hand, perpetual seconds at 6 o'clock. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Movement caliber 39 CHRO - numbered 8.687.974 (circa 1930) Case numbered 8.244.016 (circa 1930) Diameter: 53 mm This pocket chronograph has a Staybrite steel case. Similar in composition to stainless steel, this metal polishes better and the acidity of the skin damages it less. Sometimes associated with the word "unalterable steel", this type of nomenclature clearly affixed in the bowl of a watch or on the back of the case indicates a quality steel and technical research to offer the customer, the latest in alloy and materials.
