KIRMAN-LAVER carpet (Persia), end of the 19th century
Dimensions : 220 x 130cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
A rhombic medallion, oblong, navy is posed on an ivory oval field, the whole having a decoration of polychrome protuberant flowers. The four spandrels, wine lees, are also flowered. Four borders, including the main ivory, all with a decoration of garland of flowers. (Small wears)
