Puritan" watch in gilded metal with a single hand

Gilded and chased dial with a single hand with Roman numerals for the indication of the hours in a silvered circle, the bottom decorated with characters and foliage motifs, in the center a shepherd with his dog.
Mechanical movement with key winding, escapement with meeting wheel, spiral pre-balance, pierced and chiseled cock, spindle and casing, adjustment pawl, signed on the plate "J Croymarie au Puy".
Dim. 38 x 50 mm
Only Guillaume Croymarie in Le Puy is mentioned in Le Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français, Tardy, p. 149. However, his son is mentioned as an apprentice in Lyon in 1610.
This suggests that the example here is probably attributable to one of his descendants.
