Chondrite Lot n° 7

Meteorite, of chondrite type, discovered in the region Los Vientos in Chile. The Atacama desert has been revealed for the last ten years as a place of choice to look for meteorites. This desert, considered the most arid in the world, is ideal for the preservation of meteorites that fall there. The proposed meteorite presents the patina of the typical desert, the black fusion crust has become partly brown following its long stay on earth which can easily be estimated at thousands of years since its fall on our planet. 96,7g / 3,5 x 3,5 x 5 cm
