Human skull carved in a meteorite known as Ghubara discovered in the Sultana of Oman.
Contemporary work on this meteorite whose very dark texture, rich in diddynamic metal, suits this work perfectly. Note the natural position on the upper right incisor of a concentration of metal that seems to reveal a "silver" tooth. Ghubara is a Chondrite type meteorite whose exposure age, i.e. the time elapsed between its separation from the asteroid which is its parent body, is 9 to 28 million years. The skull measures 110 x 70 mm and 80 mm in height for 1075 g.
