"Diana and Actaeon"
In a setting of richly wooded and green undergrowth, where peaceful bodies of water bask in a hilly landscape and while two ducks take care of their offspring, a couple of lovers, having stopped in this idyllic place, offers us another version, more gallant and less violent of the meeting of two mythical hunters, Diana and Actaeon. They are pushed into each other's arms by a mischievous little cupid. While a majestic parrot perched, imperturbable, and a dog, symbol of fidelity, attend the scene. The frame is represented by a delicate braid of flowers and polychrome leaves.
