Banksy (1974 - ) , after , The swallow and the five pigeons , Offset lithograph on Fabriano Cotton Privilege paper, Numbered, limited edition of 150 copies, Dimensions : 70 x 50 cm + the frame, edition : 2019/ 2020, Dry stamp of the publisher Grafiart UK, bottom left, Dry stamp of the printer POW, bottom right. No Pest-Control possible for this lithograph. This lithograph illustrates five pigeons on a wire carrying messages against the swallow, which stands alone, at the other end of the wire. The pigeon is a native bird that does not migrate, unlike the swallow that migrates every year to Africa. This work is a positive vision of immigration, and presents the migrant, represented here by the swallow, as an enrichment for the English nation.
