USA. Willys Overland MB Jeep" from June 1944. This Jeep was sold as part of an estate and was being restored by its owner. It comes with a CG indicating a first run in October 1970. Manufacturer's plate indicating "Willys scout car", chassis plate n° 344009 (June 1944), so-called "composite body" construction (from May-June 1944) with Ford elements such as the hood with grease pump support, rear leaf springs with nut calipers, M38 type grille, on-board instruments in miles and gallons for the fuel gauge, the one for water temperature in degrees Celsius was replaced by safety of use, Ford type nameplates (replaced), US type reflectors, black out headlight with round body (Willys-Ford). The odometer shows 291 unwarranted miles. The engine block is well marked Willys and Jeep, 6V battery (to be replaced), Hotchkiss type horn, Willys oil and fuel filter, Military profile tires with 8-nut combat rims, upholstery and tarp (reissue) in near mint condition, the board set, shovel and axe, is attached to the left side, as well as a gas can in the rear and a Hotchkiss type spare tire. The whole set has been repainted OD. This jeep is rolling but has been unused for 4 years and needs an overhaul, the battery is out of order.
