Silk inlaid GHOUM carpet (Iran), middle of the 20th century, Shah's time.
Dimensions : 370 x 254cm.
Technical characteristics : Velvet in wool and silk on a cotton foundation.
A sky blue field hosts a spring decoration, made of polychrome scrolls and flowering stems in circumvolution. These floral compositions are embellished with "Tchis". Four counter borders, old gold and ivory with flowers frame the main border navy garland of flowers blooming multicolored.
