Original and very beautiful carpet from TEHRAN (Persia), end of the 19th century
Dimensions : 284 x 197cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton background.
Nattier blue background, decorated by three flowered vases, from which spills out seedlings of flowered foliage and birds, enriched by two trees. Two ivory spandrels with ruby red ramifications and birds surrounded by a green jade border with polychrome floral scrolls and its four counter borders.
