Naval and colonial artillery officer's sword, chased and gilt brass guard, fur chased spindle ending in a sea dog's head, wide straight crosspiece finished with rounded edges; diamond section blade, slightly narrowed just past the heel, two-grooved then one, engraved and gilt one-third with artillery trophies and waves, signed at heel: "Mfture de" and "Klingenthal"; leather scabbard with two fancy trimmings, large oval cap button adorned with a lion's head; length 65 cm.
