Shogi table/board with forty pieces in "Tomobako" box, brown lacquered wood with golden decoration “Sagitarias”, carved “Kuchinashi (gardenia)” legs, wooden pieces with painted characters, Japanese, Meiji period (1868-1912), missing two pieces replaced by two different pieces, minor faults on the lacquer.
