Superb and very luxurious edition of this collection of 3 oriental tales collected by Sliman Ben Ibrahim, translated and illustrated by Étienne Dinet (1861-1929). Edition at 300 copies; this one is one of 260 on vellum (N°263).
The illustration includes 50 color compositions in the text and full-page by Dinet, as well as beautiful decorations, framed in black or color around the text or illustrations, or full-page in color and gold.
